Rick’s Camaros is your one-stop shop for 1973 Camaro parts. The 1973 Camaro was a Second Generation F-Body Camaro, spanning from years 1970-1981. 1973 included the Z28 Coupe, Type LT Coupe, Rally Sport Coupe, and Standard Coupe. 1973 saw the introduction of the Type LT, which could be combined with the Z28, Rally Sport, or both. With more stringent front collision requirements, stronger mounting brackets were added to Rally Sport bumpers, while other models had rubber-faced vertical bumper guards, stronger mounting brackets, tubular reinforcing braces, and a support bar behind the bumper. Power windows also became available for the first time since 1969. Full foam rear seats replaced the spring style of earlier years, door impact beams were made stronger for increased side impact protection, and recovery systems were added to prevent expansion coolant loss. 1973 also made previously optional sport steering wheels standard equipment, and improved seat belts by included new buckles with reduced release effort and a positive attachment latching sound.
In addition to carrying 2nd Generation 1973 Camaro parts, Rick’s Camaros has parts for all Camaro models available.
