Lose your keys and go keyless with ididit’s 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975 Camaro Key to Keyless Ignition system. The Ignition switch is smaller and encased in a smooth, sleek housing that is pleasing to the eye but easy to install. The column will include all necessary pieces to install this Key to Keyless system in your vehicle. Add the convenience and reliability of the all new 8-position tilt collapsible column built specific for your 1970-75 Camaro. This steering column is not a universal column that requires modification of your original vehicle to install. Simply remove your old column, saving your original under dash mount and use the new Floor Mount provided in the kit. By using a rag joint between your steering box and the steering column your installation will be a snap! Add an aftermarket wheel and the gripping surface of the wheel will be in the same location as the original or you can use your original 1970-75 Camaro wheel on top of this column. Standard features of this made to fit column are 8-position tilt self-canceling turn signals 4-way flashers ignition knobs & handles 3 7/8” wire plug (1975 Camaro will use the supplied 4 ¼” wire plug). The lower shaft of this column has a 1” 48 splined shaft.
