Edelbrock

EDELBROCK TODAY

Edelbrock Corporation has seven locations: four in Torrance and three in San Jacinto, California, totaling over 500,000 square feet. Torrance Headquarters include: R&D; manufacturing; state-of-the-art testing facilities, advertising and tech support.

Less than a mile away are the Russell Plumbing, as well as our Distribution Center and Vic’s Garage. This location also houses the Company’s collection of street rods and classic cars, as well as the company archives containing our extensive collection of historic photos and memorabilia. Our Aluminum Foundries are located close by in San Jacinto. In 2008 we added a new Permanent Mold and Heat Treat facility next to our existing sand cast foundry, which has been called “the most state-of-the-art sand cast foundry west of the Mississippi.” This investment in American facilities is part of our commitment to “Made in USA” products and performance.

INTO THE FUTURE... “Proven Performance” is the philosophy that began with Vic Sr. in 1938 and it continues today with the same high standards of performance and quality. Vic Sr. would be proud of what has grown out of his small garage in Los Angeles, California.

On tap for 2012 is the expansion of the E-Force Supercharger line. Edelbrock is continuing the success of the E-Force systems with new applications for the 2003-11 GM Trucks, 2007-Later Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator along with a universal LS3 system for use in street rods and muscle cars. These revolutionary designs deliver instant, reliable and safe horsepower with low boost for minimum stress on the engine. And they fit under the stock hood!

We are also excited to announce the development of our new E-Street universal electronic fuel injection system. The E-Street EFI system is intended as an affordable, easy to use, fuel injection solution that can be installed on any V8 engine, originally equipped with a carburetor. It includes a pre-assembled throttle body, engine control unit (ECU), 7" touch screen tablet, high quality wiring harness, wide band oxygen sensor and instructions for a trouble free installation. This system will make upgrading from a carbureted setup to modern electronic fuel injection simple.

Rick’s Camaros is your one-stop shop for 1978 Camaro parts. The 1978 Camaro was a Second Generation F-Body Camaro, spanning from years 1970-1981. 1978 included the Rally Sport Coupe, Type LT Rally Sport Coupe, Z28 Coupe, Type LT Sport Coupe, and Standard Coupe. 1978 saw the last design facelift for second gen Camaros, with body fronts and rears getting new grille and taillight designs. The Rally Sport became two distinct models and had a two-tone paint scheme that separated hood, tops of front fenders and doors, and part of the roof from the remainder of the body with tri-color striping. The Z28 featured the 350ci engine with 185hp, black grille and other trim, specific hood with scoop, front fender, front and rear spoiler decals, wheel house and rocker panel accent stripes, sport mirrors, and a “string” wrapped steering wheel. Also included were sport suspension, power brakes, 4-speed manual transmission, and special dual-exhaust. Improvements in 1978 included a better-isolated exhaust system for 6-cylinder models, added front frame reinforcements, and a charcoal filter to absorb corrosive fumes in the power brake booster vacuum line. In addition to carrying 2nd Generation 1978 Camaro parts, Rick’s Camaros has parts for all Camaro models available. We have all the parts and accessories you need to help restore your Generation Two 1978 Camaro, at the best prices! Trust Ricks for all of your restoration and replacement needs for your racer, show car, street rod, or daily driver.
