Rick’s Camaros is your one-stop shop for 1985 Camaro parts. The 1985 Camaro was a Third Generation F-Body Camaro, spanning from years 1982-1992. 1985 included the Sport Coupe, Z28 Sport Coupe, IROC-Z Coupe, and Berlinetta. While the appearance of 1985 models was similar to the previous year, grilles, parking lamps, front fasciae, tail lamps, and air dams were all new. Interior trim and colors were revised for 1985, and ten of twelve exterior colors were changed from the previous year. A split folding rear seat became optional for all models. 1985 also saw the debut of a new IROC Sport Equipment Package, which featured lower trim height and center of gravity, special front struts, springs and jounce bumpers, Delco-Bilstein rear shocks, special rear springs and stabilizer bar, higher-effort steering, increased caster, front frame rail reinforcement, and more. While not a separate model, the IROC was an available option with Z28 models. A five-speed manual transmission became standard on all models, and dual air pickup air cleaners became standard on all engines except base 4-cylinder and the LG4 V8. While undergoing slight changes in the previous year, the Z28’s ride quality was softened significantly in 1985. In addition to carrying 3rd Generation 1985 Camaro parts, Rick’s Camaros has parts for all Camaro models available. We have all the parts and accessories you need to help restore your Generation Three 1985 Camaro, at the best prices! Trust Ricks for all of your restoration and replacement needs for your racer, show car, street rod, or daily driver.

High Performance Differentials, Axles & Drivelines Book Part # 88-0376-3
Author: Joe Palazzolo Softbound 8.5 x 11" 144 pages 369 color photos ISBN 13: 9781934709023 All too often, when an enthusiast builds a high-performance engine, swaps a more powerful engine into a car, or mounts sticky tires, the driveline components simply can't handle the added torque and fail. In addition, differential, axles, and driveline parts have a limited life span under the power of a high-performance engine. Also, the proper gear ratios need to be selected and installed for maximum performance on the street, strip, or track. The performance of the driveshaft, differential, axle, and other driveline components needs to match the performance level of a particular engine, so maximum efficiency, longevity, and reliability can be realized. This book covers everything you need to know about selecting the most desirable gear ratio, rebuilding differentials and other driveline components, and most importantly, matching the correct driveline components to engine power output. Learn how to set up a limited-slip differential, install high-performance axle shafts, swap out differential gears, and select the best available products for the driveline. This book covers the Chevy 12-bolt, Ford 8.8-inch, Dana units, and many other popular high-performance axles and rear ends. In addition, it explains rear differential basics, rear differential housings, rebuilding open rear differentials, limited-slip differentials, and factory differentials. Ring and pinion gears, axle housings, axle shafts, driveshafts, and U-joints are also covered Learn More
