The inner door look rod makes up part of the latch mechanism assembly in your F-Body, and if it ever gets to the point of rusting, getting loose, or breaking, your door's lock assembly may not work. This plated rod has a threaded end for the inner lock knob, and the rod inner end will attach to the door latch mechanism actuator arm. These door lock rods are sold individually, and one is needed per door.
