Rick's Camaros brings you this technically correct shifter cable assembly for your 1968-1981 first or second gen Camaro with center console and automatic transmission. This is not one of those cheaper import shift cables where the end of the shifter cable separates after a few shifts in your Camaro. It is an Original Equipment (OE) style, high quality shift cable which was made to be used for a long time and ensures that you will have fluid shifting in your Camaro. Camaros with center console need this floor shifter cable assembly for a smooth ride. This floor shifter cable assembly includes already installed correct through-floor rubber grommet with heavy spring steel insert, and three correct spring steel mounting tabs. Keep your Camaro ready for show and go with this superior reproduction from Rick's Camaros. This assembly will fit Standard, Super Sport (SS), Rally Sport (RS), and Z28 Camaros in the years 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972 with TH350 or TH400 Automatic Transmissions. See Applications for your specific model. NOTE: This cable fits all Camaros from 1968-1972 and this style of grommet was on the cable from the factory. This cable was replaced in 1973 with the same style cable with a triangular shaped grommet which screwed to the floor with three screws. If the cable broke in your Camaro, it was replaced with this later style cable and is not correct for 1968-1972.
