  1968-1969 Rally Sport (RS) Camaros are notorious for actuator failures. Original GM Camaro vacuum actuators lasted for years. The first available reproductions usually didn't work out of the box and if they did, they would fail shortly thereafter. Rick's Camaros brings you this superior reproduction headlight vacuum actuator made on completely new tooling, gold cad plated, and including a black rubber dust boot. Replace your non-working RS vacuum actuators and stop opening and closing those doors by hand! These actuators were tested for proper operation at manufacture and again before packaging. Trust Rick's Camaros for all of your restoration and replacement needs for your 1968, 1969 RS Camaro!  WARNING: Vacuum actuators obviously operate with vacuum pressure. DO NOT attempt to operate the vacuum actuator with compressed air as this will destroy the internal seal and void the manufacturer's warranty. NOTE: If an actuator appears to "stick" or operate slowly, a small amount of silicone based lubricant can be sprayed into each vacuum port. DO NOT spray petroleum based (i.e. WD-40®) into the actuator as these products will cause the internal seal to swell and void the manufacturer's warranty.
