Improve the handling and performance of your Camaro while keeping the vintage look with Firestone Wide Oval Sup-R-Belt tires in a larger, wider size. As you may know, Wide Oval tires changed the shape of tires for good in the 1960s. They were bias ply tires, which Firestone no longer makes. Fortunately for us in the Camaro restoration hobby, Firestone vintage tires are still available from specialty tire companies using original Firestone molds to form that famous tread with authentic 2+2 polyester/fiberglass construction. In addition, because of modern technology, these reproduction Firestone Wide Oval tires are safer and more reliable than their predecessors were. A new set of reproduction Firestone Wide Oval tires from Eckler's on your Camaro will achieve the "correct" period look you want besides adding value and authenticity to your restoration.
